I'm a scuba diver and bought this U.S.Divers Diva 1 Lx / Island Dry Lx/ Trek / Travel Bag for my wife who loves to snorkel. This is a great package for traveling, the fins are shorties but truly effective and comfortable; the mask seals great around the face, has easy adjustable straps and the lens offers a great view. Oh man the snorkel is worth its weight in gold! It's a dry snorkel which means you can dive down under to grab sea shells or whatever and come up without any water in the snorkel. The snorkel breaths super easy too and if you did manage to get water in the tube, there is purge valve - so with an easy puff of breath, you can clear the water quick & easily. I paid $10 extra for the bright hot pink ($79 total /w free shipping). I'd say it was worth it for a couple of reasons; 1) I could easily look out across the water and quickly spot the hot pink, 2) she looks great in the hot pink and also received lots of cool kudos.
Two weeks later, I bought the man's version in black for myself ($69), the ease of the travel version; the overall quality and ease of use are excellent. I would buy from this vendor ([...]) again. I received my package in five business day using the free (5 to 9) day delivery. The items were packed well and shipped in a quality box container. i purchased this set for a recent snorkel trip after using the short fins last year. the product arrived on time, was exactly what i expected. the set is of good quality and performed well. the short fins are easier to get around in than the longer ones; the mask had a good seal and fit. what is especially nice is that the short fins are travel friendly. the whole set fits well in carry on luggage and is easy to carry on the beach. i very much recommend this product if you are looking for good snorkel gear at a decent price.

We took this on our caribbean vacation and my fiance loved it. Everything fit great and her feet never got tired because of the shorter fin length.

The only problem is that the snorkel seems to fall off of the mask strap a lot when putting the mask on over your face. It might be due to the thin strap on the mask, but it was a little annoying. It never fell of while on, just when you would put the mask on. I recommend holding the snorkel while putting the mask on.

After some research the US divers gear is the best for those on a budget. I was a little skeptical that these would perform as advertised, but they do. The mask and snorkel were very comfortable, make sure and get the articulated snorkel tube for comfort. No problems with leaking, there was very little water that got into the tube while snorkeling in the waves, if it did a slow inhale and quick blow cleared the tube of water out the purge valve. The bag is large enough to fit two sets of equipment in one bag which saved space. The short wide fins worked well and allowed us to get into shallow areas without worrying about damaging the reef and they are much smaller for packing and carrying around while hiking. I actually wore the women's light blue in the appropriate fin size and it fit my medium sized face and size 9 foot nicely. I am very happy with the purchase.

Excellent product, good quality, wife enjoyed it. Wished it would've come with a snorkeling vest and lens cleaner.
